Service description:
The EMS "Les Jardins du Léman", with a capacity of 51 beds, aims to offer its residents the best possible quality of life in a medical environment adapted to their specificities. Our support approach is based, on the one hand, on building a relationship of trust with the residents, their relatives, and the medical staff, and on the other hand, on considering their life paths, desires, and needs. This respect for the person is reflected through medical care provided by our qualified nursing staff.
Job description:
In your new role, your tasks impact the quality of care for the residents. Your role will notably include,
- Organizing the workday in pairs with the nurse independently
- Providing delegated medico-technical acts
- Conducting the admission assessment of the new resident and participating in the development of the support, care project, and AVQ card
- Stimulating autonomy, performing basic care, and compensating for the disabilities of dependent residents
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Transmitting information in a targeted and relevant manner in the resident's computerized file (Carefolio® software)
- Supervising and supporting ASSC apprentices and interns
- Supervising and supporting new collaborators
- Ensuring good care and support practices among nursing assistants and health auxiliaries
Required profile:
We are confident in your rapid success in your future role thanks to your:
- Strong interest in caring for elderly and/or dependent persons and/or those with cognitive disorders
- Patience, empathy, active listening, high verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to work interdisciplinarily
Previous experience in the role would be an asset
