About the job

The Ilgenhalde Foundation is committed to people with severe multiple disabilities, especially those with increased care and structural needs. Ilgenhalde is one of three institutions of the foundation and supports and promotes 72 children and adolescents with intensive care, nursing and/or structural needs aged 4 – 18 years. Our offer includes school, living and therapy. In a total of 12 classes (kindergarten to secondary level and two structure classes), seven residential groups, two therapeutic residential school groups as well as various therapy offers, about 190 employees take care of our children and adolescents.

For our special education school, we are looking for committed civil service volunteers who want to make a meaningful contribution and gain valuable experience in the social and educational field.

What to expect

A civil service placement with us offers a comprehensive insight into the everyday life of special education and social pedagogical work. You support our professionals at school and additionally gain valuable experience on Wednesday afternoons and during school holidays in a residential group in the care and support of children and adolescents – well supported by experienced, practice-instructing professionals and competent teams.

Where and how we work

Ilgenhalde is located in a green area and offers generous space. Parking spaces are available and catering in our canteen is possible on site.
Together we create an open and professional environment and maintain good cooperation among each other. You will find a lively environment with us as well as socially relevant activity and room for co-creation.
