The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. Certified Nursing Specialist with Additional Role as Vocational Trainer 80 - 100 %
Would you like to shape the daily life of our residents – especially people with dementia – with heart and professional competence and pass on your knowledge to the next generation? Then we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You care for and accompany our residents with dementia with empathy and appreciation in their home.
- You competently implement nursing measures and support the residents in daily life activities.
- You regularly take on the daily responsibility and support your colleagues in everyday nursing care.
- You observe changes in health status, pass on relevant information and document carefully in the nursing process.
- If interested and suitably qualified, after a successful introduction you have the opportunity to take on the additional role as a vocational trainer. For this, you enjoy passing on your knowledge and accompany trainees with patience, appreciation and enthusiasm on their professional path.
- You work early and late shifts until 21:15 and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
- You bring professional experience in long-term care and/or gerontopsychiatry and enjoy working with elderly people.
- You take responsibility, work independently and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
- You appreciate teamwork, communicate respectfully and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
- You are confident with IT systems, ideally have experience with RAI LTCF and have very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
