SchlierenYour Tasks
- You check, clarify and ensure entitlement to economic and personal social assistance based on the Social Assistance Act, the Asylum Care Ordinance and other laws and guidelines.
- You assert legal claims against third parties according to the principles of subsidiarity.
- You carry out IT-supported case management (Tutoris).
- You advise and support individuals and families in various life situations.
- You initiate and implement appropriate measures in cooperation with internal and external specialists as well as professional organisations.
- You promote and support the integration of refugees in accordance with the Zurich Integration Agenda.
Your Profile
- Studies in Social Work or near completion (FH) or completed studies in Sociology, Ethnology, Political Science, Psychology, Educational Sciences; Human Geography with willingness to further educate in social assistance law
- Diplomas from abroad must already have been submitted to the SBFI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation) and a "measure" must be in place or started
- Professional experience and knowledge in social assistance as well as in the asylum sector
- Good IT application skills (MS Office), as well as familiarity with case management systems
- Very good German skills (at least C1), other asylum-relevant languages are an advantage
- Conceptual and communicative skills, as well as high social competence and resilience

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 100,000 and 125,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. Additionally, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ's financial possibilities.
