YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Disciplinary and professional leadership of logistics employees in the assigned area (up to 20 employees)
- Creation of personnel and deployment planning taking into account the available capacity resources
- Ensuring efficient, correct and timely delivery of logistics services along the internal goods flow from goods receipt through production supply to goods issue/shipping
- Initiation of corrective and preventive measures in case of deviations in performance, output, quality or target achievement
- Ensuring optimized and correct warehouse management using ERP and WMS including carrying out necessary inventories
- Organisation of national and international transport orders as well as relevant forwarding documents and customs papers
- Coordination and communication with various internal interfaces such as procurement, planning, production, order processing as well as external service providers
- Supervision of trainees in the logistics area
- Possibility of deputising for the department head
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical or mechanical basic training (EFZ)
- Further training or higher qualification in the fields of (production) logistics, supply chain management or production management
- Relevant, several years of experience in leading teams in goods receipt, warehousing to shipping
- Independent working style with a high sense of responsibility
- Advanced user knowledge in WMS and ERP programmes (SAP knowledge advantageous) and MS Office
- Ability to work in a structured way and with necessary prioritisation under pressure
- Experience in lean management, shopfloor management and 5S
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills advantageous
- Driving licence for operating industrial trucks (S2, R1, R2) desirable
- Experience in supervising apprentices
