Building maintenance specialists maintain, inspect, and clean buildings and their surroundings. They monitor building technology, carry out repairs, maintain machines, dispose of waste, and handle administrative tasks. In addition, they care for and maintain green spaces and sports facilities and take care of traffic routes and other infrastructure. In Schönbühl, you will be trained primarily in house service.

• Clean and maintain various types of buildings
• Clean windows and floors of corridors, laundries, or toilets
• Treat walls and ceilings with special agents
• Inspect and maintain building technical systems, such as solar, sanitary, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as locking systems and electrical devices
• Perform minor repairs on these systems and devices and fix malfunctions
• Dispose of or recycle waste in an environmentally friendly manner
• Plan work processes and coordinate with the team
• Work with various small vehicles, tools, and devices, clean and maintain them
• Check material stock in the warehouse and reorder materials if necessary
