REGENHU is a Swiss pioneer in high-precision bioprinting technologies. We design and manufacture advanced bioprinting platforms used by leading research groups worldwide to push the boundaries of biofabrication.
To strengthen our Applications team, we are looking for a
You will act as a key technical interface between REGENHU and its customers, focusing on advanced operation of our bioprinting systems and the development of complex additive manufacturing workflows. This role combines customer-facing application work with system-level expertise, without machine development or wet-lab activities.
You will complement our existing FAE team by bringing strong hardware and workflow knowledge, helping customers get the most out of our technology, and supporting pre-sales demonstrations, trainings, and advanced post-sales projects.
Main responsibilities
Application & Pre-Sales
- Operate REGENHU’s bioprinting platforms at an expert level and demonstrate advanced system capabilities
- Develop, optimize, and explain complex additive manufacturing workflows (toolpaths, process parameters, multi-material workflows)
- Guide customers in configuring their systems and translating their goals into robust printing strategies.
- Support pre-sales activities with technical evaluations, demos, and recommendations
- Follow customer projects and provide hands-on workflow support (remote or on-site)
- Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, providing feedback to internal teams on technical differentiators, customer needs, and market opportunities
Post-Sales Training & Advanced Support
- Deliver in-depth system and workflow training to new and advanced users
- Help customers troubleshoot system-level issues from a power-user perspective
- Contribute to documentation, application guides, webinars, and technical content
Service Backup
- Act as a secondary resource for installations or troubleshooting when Customer Support is overloaded
- Perform basic component adjustments or replacements when required (not a primary responsibility)
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience with complex technical systems: 3D printing, CNC, robotics, automation, instrumentation, or similar
- Advanced operator-level understanding of mechatronic systems (motion control, precision mechanics, extrusion, thermal control)
- Ability to read, modify, and tune G-code and understand its impact on print behavior
- Experience developing or optimizing additive manufacturing workflows
- Strong troubleshooting mindset across mechanics, electronics, and software interactions
- Excellent communication skills; confident and credible with both researchers and engineers
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, adapting depth to the audience
