Your new role
As a neighborhood police officer, you make an important contribution to preventive policing and strengthen the trust relationship between the city police and the population. In daily service, you take on general police duties and maintain direct contact with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities also include addressing the concerns of the population as well as planning and overseeing prevention campaigns and larger events. In case of an emergency, you may also be called upon to lead an operational section.
This position is for you if
- You can present the federal professional certificate as a police officer and have at least six years of service in the police force;
- You have experience in planning and executing larger events and ideally in operational leadership;
- You can identify with preventive activities and are a sociable, communicative person;
- You count independence and initiative among your strengths;
- You are willing to adapt your duty schedule flexibly to the security situation and, if necessary, perform additional duties regardless of the day of the week;
- You have an impeccable reputation and confidentiality as well as reliability are a matter of course for you.
