What is my role?
As a shift supervisor, you take on a central key position in production and support the operations and team leader in organising and managing the operation.
Carry out maintenance work independently, document it, and plan and coordinate repairs
Provide professional guidance to employees
Monitor production specifications, ensure compliance, and intervene in case of deviations
Analyse technical faults, resolve them, and minimise downtime
Identify optimisation opportunities in processes and implement them together with the team
Monitor product quality, conduct quality checks, and initiate corrective measures
Ensure orderliness, cleanliness, and occupational safety at the workplace
Conduct shift handovers in a structured manner and inform superiors about relevant incidents
What do I need to be successful?
Completed apprenticeship as a mechanic, electromechanic, or automation technician with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing company
Manual dexterity and strong technical understanding
Systematic thinking and precise working methods
Solution-oriented approach to challenges
Independent and responsible working style
Reliability and sense of responsibility
Willingness to work shifts
05:00-13:00 or 13:00-21:00
Willingness to take on on-call duty
