We are looking for a Quality Inspector Metallography Welding to strengthen our team and take on an important role in the analysis of weld seams and metallographic examinations within quality assurance.

Then this task is ideal for you: You create micrographs, carefully prepare samples, and help us transparently and comprehensibly document the quality of our welding processes.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Accept orders for creating micrographs of weld seams, including internal sampling, qualifications, validations, and other quality assurances.
- Perform metallographic sample preparation, including cutting, grinding, polishing, and etching.
- Digitize micrographs and prepare them for reporting.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have training in metal processing; experience in welding processes and in micrograph preparation according to DIN EN ISO 5817 is an advantage.
- Demonstrate a high quality awareness and work carefully and reliably.
- Are fluent in German and communicate clearly and precisely.
- Are willing to work shifts and bring flexibility to your daily work routine.
- Are open to training in additional testing methods such as hardness measurement, burst test, pressure load cycle test, tensile test, and impact bending test, and can confidently read technical drawings.
