About the job
Our cleaning staff contribute significantly to a well-maintained and safe environment for our residents. In this role, in addition to practical work, you take on additional organizational tasks and actively contribute to ensuring a high and stable cleaning standard.
Working hours are usually between 06:45 and 15:45. Occasional shifts in the late shift (11:50 to 20:50) as well as on weekends are possible.
- Practical work in cleaning as well as partially in the laundry
- Responsibility for organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing daily operations
- Ensuring, checking, and continuously improving cleaning standards
- Organization and control of exit cleanings
- Professional support of the team and close cooperation with the group management
- Inspection rounds to ensure order, cleanliness, and cleaning standards
- Completed training in cleaning or housekeeping (EFZ or EBA) is an advantage
- Experience in training apprentices is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in professional cleaning, ideally in healthcare
- Experience in organizing and coordinating workflows
- Very good German skills as well as a good understanding of Swiss German
- Strong quality awareness and responsible handling of machines and materials
- Independent, structured, and resilient personality

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
