Assembly Operator 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, to metal and plastic components. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
What you can achieve:
Mechanical and electrical assembly and testing of complex assemblies and instruments in the field of laboratory automation
Commissioning and parameterisation of the assembled units according to technical requirements
Execution of quality-relevant intermediate and final inspections to ensure functionality and quality standards
Ensuring process workflows according to specifications to comply with the prescribed production standards
ESD-compliant assembly according to electrostatic protection regulations
Documentation and reporting of test results to optimise work processes and ensure traceability
Error analysis and technical problem-solving during assembly and testing
Collaboration with the development department for continuous improvement of product quality and efficiency in assembly
What you bring with you:
Completed technical basic training, ideally in mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic fields
Several years of experience in precise assembly and commissioning of assemblies, instruments, or automated systems
Very high computer proficiency and routine in handling software-supported assembly, testing, and documentation processes
Strong holistic and networked thinking as well as an entrepreneurial working style
Accurate, efficient, and independent working method as well as a very high quality awareness
Good comprehension and ability to quickly understand complex technical contexts
Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
Ability to perform assembly work that requires prolonged standing and occasional lifting of components
Team-oriented, responsible, and reliable personality
