Automation Technician / Service Technician Internal and Field Service
Tasks
- Thorough training within the company and support from an experienced field service technician
- Getting to know machines, products, and operational processes
- Gradual assumption of independent service assignments
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of machines at the customer’s site
- Analysis and troubleshooting on-site and via remote support
- Technical contact person for customers and ensuring reliable plant operation
- Support of internal assembly and production
Requirements
- Technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (polymechanic, automation technician, or similar)
- Very good mechanical and good electrical knowledge (reading and understanding schematics)
- Knowledge of networks advantageous (setting up, configuring networks and integrating devices)
- Experience as a service technician and with remote tools is an advantage
- Reliable, resilient, and team-oriented personality with an independent and solution-focused working style
