What to expect
- A versatile range of tasks with creative freedom: You independently manage your assortment in the Beauty & Healthcare sector and continuously develop it with regard to trends, market analyses, and customer needs
- You have strategic, financial (achieving sales & contribution margin), and operational responsibility for the assortment and manufacturers in your area
- This includes assortment design and recording your article master data, as well as analyzing the economic strengths and weaknesses in your assortment
- You constantly analyze the market (GfK), recognize trends, and use market opportunities in a targeted manner
- This includes evaluating new manufacturers and suppliers and ensuring suitable sources of supply
- You negotiate contracts and purchasing conditions with your manufacturers/suppliers and ensure competitive and attractive pricing
- Furthermore, you maintain collaboration with purchasing to implement the procurement strategy, comply with stock limits and target coverage, and ensure availability
- You plan marketing measures in cooperation with manufacturers and our Category Marketing Manager
- You also ensure regulatory compliance and legal requirements of the assortments
What you bring
- A completed commercial basic education (EFZ) as well as further training in marketing, product management, purchasing, or business administration
- 2–3 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the beauty, healthcare, or related consumer goods sector
- A good sense for market trends and customer needs, ideally complemented by industry knowledge in the beauty/healthcare environment
- You are enthusiastic about digitalization and automation – you enjoy working with modern digital tools and technologies
- You are familiar with ERP systems such as SAP and/or Navision as well as MS Office programs (especially Excel)
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking as well as resilience even in dynamic situations characterize you
- You have a structured and efficient working style combined with independence and high initiative
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external partners complete your profile
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as confident handling of MS Office
