Job Description

In this role, you will drive the further development of our range in the areas of Smart Home & Building, Communication & Multimedia, and Security. You identify market trends early, translate strategic directives into concrete measures, and successfully introduce new products and ranges into the company. With your sense for the market and customer benefit, you ensure the implementation of our marketing activities and continuously optimise our range.

Your Tasks

• Support and further development of the assigned product groups in the areas of Smart Home & Building, Communication & Multimedia, and Security
• Operational implementation and co-design of the category strategy in close collaboration with the Category Manager
• Implementation and monitoring of promotions and action plans including inventory management
• Participation in the selection and definition of new products and suppliers considering quality, technology, and customer needs
• Support in assortment, pricing, and calculation optimisations as well as in projects, annual planning, and reporting topics
• Analysis of market, technology, and customer developments and derivation of appropriate measures
• Central interface for smooth exchange between purchasing, marketing, pricing, and data management

Qualifications

• Completed EFZ training in electrical installation, as an automation technician, or in a related technical field of the construction or industrial sector
• Technical and/or commercial further education in business administration, marketing, or product management
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in retail and/or B2B2C online shops
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style with team spirit, resilience, and assertiveness
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as confident handling of ERP systems
• Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
