About the job
- You take responsibility for the strategic direction and further development of the crisis intervention area.
- In crisis situations, you ensure that your team works optimally – coordinating, supporting, and supervising.
- You are responsible for the rapid diagnosis and treatment quality of patients in acute mental crises.
- You work closely with other departments and external partners to provide fast and comprehensive help.
- You actively take care of the further development of your team and constantly update your own expertise.
- You are responsible for the professional supervision of assistant doctors and psychologists in the crisis intervention center (KIZ).
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are about to complete your specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- You must have a valid professional practice license (BAB) from the canton of St. Gallen or be willing to obtain it before starting the position.
- With your experience in psychiatric treatment, you confidently handle even complex situations.
- You appreciate working with patients as well as close collaboration in an interdisciplinary team.
- Flexibility, team spirit, strong communication skills, and continuous development are among your strengths.
- Independent work, taking responsibility, and making confident decisions are natural for you.
- For this position, German language skills at C1 level are required to communicate professionally with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
