The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) Canton Zurich fulfils important humanitarian tasks on site in the areas of everyday support, education and migration/social integration.
From October 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed individual as
Course Instructor: Babysitting for Adults & Nanny Training Course (Mandate Basis)
We are committed, among other things, with diverse educational offerings for families, caregivers and professionals. In your role, you design and lead our educational programmes around the topic of childcare and bring your expertise into the lessons in a practical way.
This is what you will achieve with us
- Teaching in the Nanny SRC Canton Zurich training course, including labour law topics
- Conducting nanny further training on topics such as communication, pedagogy and collaboration with families (approx. 1 day per year)
- Leading 2–3 babysitting courses for adults per year
- Occasional assignments in babysitting courses for young people from 13 years old by arrangement
- Contributing to the further development of training courses, teaching materials and educational offerings on a mandate basis
This is how you convince us
- You inspire people to learn and combine expertise with practical, modern teaching methods
- Training in childcare, parent education, pedagogy, child nursing or a related field
- Methodical-didactic further training (at least SVEB I or equivalent)
- Experience in teaching adults, ideally also young people
- Enjoyment of lively, interactive and practice-oriented teaching
- Experience in dealing with children and families
- Organisational flair as well as independent and conceptual work
- Certification as a course instructor "Strong Parents – Strong Children®" is an advantage
