Job description:
In your new role, your tasks impact the quality of care for the residents. Your role will notably consist of,
- Working within the 2 services of the nursing home (geriatrics and psycho-geriatrics)
- Caring for a group of residents by stimulating their autonomy or, if necessary, compensating for their needs according to their level of dependency
- Ensuring personalized care
- Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
- Transmitting and recording your observations in a targeted and relevant manner in the computerized file of the resident
Required profile:
We are confident in your rapid success in your future functions thanks to your:
- Strong interest in caring for elderly and/or dependent persons and/or those with cognitive disorders
- Patience, empathy, active listening, high skills in verbal and non-verbal communication
- Good physical and mental endurance
- Flexibility in scheduling (day/night work/continuous and split shifts)
Level of education:
Professional Training Certificate as Care and Support Assistant (AFP ASA) or equivalent desired
Health Auxiliary diploma certified by the Swiss Red Cross (at minimum)
