This year, the reading of the water meters will no longer be done by an official representative of the municipality. You will receive a letter from the municipality in the first
half of January with a form on which you can enter the current meter reading.
Please stay healthy

From the municipal council
We are looking for a cleaning employee
starting February 1, 2021 or by arrangement
The municipal council decides on the composition of the accompanying group and the concept for the
evaluation of the pilot phase of the school social work project.
You will be responsible for cleaning the multipurpose hall (hall, changing rooms, sanitary facilities, etc.) The work will take place daily from Monday to Friday for 1 to 2 hours per day with a reduced workload during school holidays.
You can expect a responsible and independent task with the goal of providing the school children
and the associations with a clean facility at all times.

The Hauensteinbahn association distributed printed face masks to the railway users during the resumption of operations of the Läufelfingerlis on December 13 and 14. The municipal council, together with the other municipalities of the Homburg valley, made a financial contribution and a significant personal effort to the action.
Decisions from December 3, 2020
The structural condition of the currently uninhabited
asylum accommodation on Bahnhofstrasse requires renovation measures. The municipal council discusses various possibilities for action as well as
future possible uses of the area. In this context, the future accommodation and care of asylum seekers must also be questioned.
A crisis is a productive state.
After the resignation of Daniel Probst, the social welfare authority elected Melanie Bütikofer-Hodel as the new president of the authority.

To all dog owners: Dog fees 2021
The collection of dog fees will change starting in 2021. You will receive an invoice for the 2021 fees in the coming days. The previous cash payment at the administration counter will no longer be available. We ask for the transfer of the due amount within the specified payment period of 30 days. If you have any questions or uncertainties, we are happy to assist you.
The fees remain unchanged:
CHF 100.- for the first dog per household
CHF 150.- for each additional dog per household
No fee will be charged for farm, hunting, police, and guide dogs.
