Responsibilities:

Exciting tasks await you – in this role you will take over the management of operational technology (OT) at our site in Breitenbach and are responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving around our OT systems and networks. In addition, you will train personnel on the systems and procedures. We look forward to your expertise in the following areas:

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate OT systems into the IT infrastructure
• Support of OT-specific projects, such as improving cybersecurity
• Support of digitization in production
• Retrofit of critical measurement and production systems
• Design, development, and implementation of OT systems and solutions to support industrial processes
• Monitoring and maintenance of OT systems to ensure high availability and reliability
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing cybersecurity measures to protect OT facilities
• Development and maintenance of documentation for OT systems, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Keeping up with the latest trends and advances in OT and industrial automation technology

Requirements:

You will convince us with this profile – in addition to a completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, you have excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge in the development and management of OT systems in an industrial environment. Experience with continuous improvement or manufacturing in an industrial environment is a plus. Furthermore:

• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and DCS
• Experience with IT/OT convergence and common cybersecurity practices
• Several years of professional experience in managing OT systems desirable
• Ideally certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or CISM
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and IoT is an advantage
• Very good communication skills in German and English
• Attention to detail and an open, friendly personality
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team
