Specialist in Education & Development 50%The General Secretariat is committed to high location quality, attractive workplaces and prosperity for the population in the Canton of Zurich. It serves as a hub, planning office and competence centre for the affairs of the Department of Economic Affairs, advises and supports the Director and the organisational units, and provides services in the areas of Human Resources, Finance, Communication, Law and Digital Transformation.
The Education & Development team in the Human Resources & Development department is the competence centre for personnel development and is responsible, among other things, for an effective educational offer that is continuously developed in collaboration with the departments. Our goal is to enable employees and managers for their tasks and to support them in developing the skills needed for tomorrow.
From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, our team is looking for reinforcement, initially limited to two years. Do you want to develop educational offers with impact, think conceptually and enjoy working project-oriented? Then help us shape the future of Education & Development.
Your tasks:
- Needs assessment as well as conception, planning and implementation of practical educational offers (webinars, courses, job rotations etc.) for internal employees
- Leading projects to develop and introduce new training offers in collaboration with the specialist departments of the offices
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and active shaping of the learning and development culture
- Revision, further development and quality assurance of existing offers
- Taking on further projects and tasks, tailored to your experience and strengths
Your profile:
- Further training in adult education, education or personnel development (e.g. SVEB 1 certificate or federal specialist certificate as trainer)
- Proven experience in developing and implementing educational offers as well as in leading and participating in projects
- Methodical-didactic skills, conceptual strength and proficiency in using digital tools (e.g. M365, collaboration tools) as well as digital learning methods
- Experience with LMS/LXP is an advantage
- Strong social and advisory skills as well as persuasive communication in dealing with different stakeholders
- Independent, structured and service-oriented working style with a hands-on mentality, team spirit and a pinch of humour
