Deputy Team Leader SMD / SMT Production (m/f/d), Succession Planning
As the deputy to the SMD team leader, you will share responsibility for our SMT lines from the outset. In the course of the upcoming retirement of the long-standing incumbent, you will be comprehensively introduced as part of a long-term planned succession and gradually take on additional leadership tasks – with the clear prospect of taking over the team leadership in due course.
- Deputising for the SMD team leader in the daily management and organisation of the SMT lines
- Ensuring a smooth, timely and quality-compliant production process (placement, solder paste printing, reflow, AOI)
- Setting up, programming and optimising the placement machines
- Creating, adjusting and optimising the AOI programmes
- Monitoring quality and process parameters according to IPC-A-610 as well as continuous process improvement (OEE, CPH)
- Participating in the introduction of new products and processes (NPI) as well as in investment and procurement decisions
- Close cooperation with production management in planning, processes and further development of production
- Guiding, promoting and scheduling employees
- Technical basic training in electronics / mechatronics / automation, ideally with further training (e.g. technician HF, federal specialist certificate or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in SMT/SMD production, preferably with Fuji placement machines
- Sound understanding of soldering processes, IPC standards and quality assurance in electronics manufacturing
- Initial leadership experience or clearly recognisable potential and the willingness to take on responsibility
- Independent, structured and quality-conscious working style
- Confident German language skills; English is an advantage
