Occupational Therapy at Lengg Clinic
At Lengg Clinic, we work in a large interdisciplinary team of nearly 70 therapists with extensive knowledge in various neurological disorders and treatment concepts. The occupational therapy team consists of 16 occupational therapists and 1 activation therapist. We also train students and place great value on interprofessional training and team meetings, offering plenty of space for professional exchange and individual support in a collegial environment. Our close interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration enables continuous development.
Your Responsibilities
- You lead the occupational therapy department personnel-wise (around 16 occupational therapists) and ensure efficient operations. You are responsible for attendance management, recruiting and supporting new employees during their induction, as well as organising and conducting employee appraisals (MAG) and interim discussions
- You ensure quality within the occupational therapy department and continuously develop it. Additionally, you participate in the interprofessional management meetings of medical therapies and take on leadership or collaborative roles in interprofessional projects
- You conduct practical and patient-centred occupational therapy assessments, evaluations, as well as individual and group therapies (including robotics) and evaluate their effectiveness. Your focus is on neurological rehabilitation in the inpatient setting
- You undertake administrative tasks such as electronic progress documentation, writing discharge reports, and organising local outpatient follow-up treatment
- You work closely and interprofessionally with internal and external specialists
- Participation in internal training and management days completes the range of duties
Your Profile
- You hold a degree as an occupational therapist (BSc). Ideally, you have further developed your leadership skills with an MSc, MAS or CAS in Leadership
- You bring experience in team leadership and know how to support, guide employees and achieve goals together
- You have solid experience in treating neurological and epileptological patients
- You are interested in neurorehabilitation and value interprofessional collaboration as a key success factor for high-quality patient care
- You work in a structured and efficient manner, maintain an overview even in complex situations, and think in a connected way
- You are characterised by commitment as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented working style, possess strong organisational and communication skills, and communicate appropriately to the audience
- Ideally, you have experience in vocational integration and job coaching
