What you will achieve with us
- You are responsible for the professional advice and support of inpatient and day-clinic patients as well as relatives during somatic or psychosomatic rehabilitation.
- You provide counselling in the psychosocial area.
- You are responsible for advice on financial matters and develop budgets with the patients.
- In the area of social insurance, you accompany and apply for benefits.
- You plan hospital discharges and follow-up solutions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- You initiate the reintegration process in cooperation with external partners.

Barmelweid is the leading specialist and rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic clinic in Switzerland. The clinic cares for patients in 285 inpatient beds.
Barmelweid compiles a tailored programme for each patient based on a standard programme, customised to individual goals. Depending on the treatment offered, this includes physio- and exercise therapy, occupational, art and music therapy. This may mean training endurance, strength or coordination, hiking, practising breathing techniques, cooking together, engaging in crafts or creative activities, experiencing sensory impressions or incorporating music in all its forms into the therapeutic process.
Barmelweid employs over 700 staff. It is located at around 800 metres altitude on a clearing in the Aargau Jura and is embedded in a unique environment with a nature park.
