About the job
To support our sales team, we are looking for a committed, humorous, and motivated personality starting April 1, 2026.
For our sales branch Viadukt, we are looking for a host who enjoys working with people and offers customers an experience. With your positive charisma, you represent our foundation at the forefront. You passionately sell our baked goods and confectionery specialties, achieve exemplary customer loyalty, and perform all related tasks in the branch. You support, accompany, and promote our employees in the second labor market as well as our trainees and are willing to help out in other branches in case of staff shortages.
Your tasks:
- Independently managing a shift
- Active service & welcoming of customers
- Promoting independence, reliability, and structure among employees of the second labor market
- Teaching simple work steps (e.g., cash register management, stocking bread, cleaning tables, packaging, dishwashing)
- Patient, respectful interaction with people with special needs
- Collaboration with social partners (support persons, etc.)
Your profile:
- Completed training in retail or gastronomy at EFZ level or equivalent experience in the food industry
- First experience in work pedagogy is an advantage
- Affinity for gastronomy
- Host/passion for customer service
- Economic thinking and acting in the interest of the foundation
- Innovative and creative thinking
- Patience, resilience, and humor
- High social competence, empathy, and professional ability to set boundaries
- You identify with the values of the St. Jakob Foundation and live them daily
- Friendly and well-groomed appearance with sales and organizational talent
- Enjoyment of working with people from the second labor market
- Reliability and flexibility (deployments also on weekends)
