Your Profile
- Strong interest in digital and analogue media
- Good computer skills
- Enjoyment in contact with people
- Reliable, independent and service-oriented
- Completed secondary school (E or P), WBS or district school
- Very good German skills (text comprehension, written expression, spelling)
- Good foreign language skills (English, French)

About Us
The UB Basel, with its five locations, is one of the most important public information centres in the region. With a collection of 6 million printed and 3.5 million electronic media, half a million visitors annually, and its significant historical collection dating back to the 8th century, it is one of the major scientific libraries in Switzerland. At the same time, it is the cantonal library of Basel-Stadt and accessible to the public. In its role as a mediator between science and society, it offers various stakeholders a versatile learning and meeting space.
