To strengthen our team in the Food sector, we are looking for a motivated and committed Quality Manager (m/f/d), 60-80%, at the Basel Headquarters location, from 01.01.2026, fixed-term until 30.09.2026.
Your responsibilities
- You define, check, and ensure product-specific requirements regarding physical/microbiological/chemical requirements and legal safety standards.
- You independently conduct internal risk assessments and training.
- You coordinate, evaluate, assess, and document product tests within the framework of self-monitoring.
- You conduct, document, and evaluate audits, control spot checks at the POS.
- You perform analyses/checks regarding customer complaints.
- You handle inquiries and complaints from authorities.
- You are responsible for processing and coordinating improvement measures in case of deviations, such as withdrawals/recalls.
- You are a contact person for suppliers, purchasing, technical product development, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
- You work closely with laboratory institutes.
- You are responsible for screening trends and changes in legislation as well as timely internal information and/or training.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed vocational training in the field of food quality assurance.
- You preferably have further training in quality management and/or relevant standards/legislation.
- You bring experience in the food or quality sector.
- You set priorities correctly, work in a structured manner, and are resilient.
- You have very good German and French skills, both spoken and written.
