Portrait of the School/Institution
At Burgdorf High School, approximately 850 students are taught by about 100 teachers from levels GYM1 to GYM4. We are open to new ideas but at the same time feel committed to the high school tradition.
We not only maintain education in all basic and specialized subjects according to the canton’s guidelines, but also run a talent program and offer immersion teaching in the partner languages English, French, and Italian.

Tasks
You teach classes in the subject of history at all high school levels, mostly in English.
Requirements
You hold a diploma for teaching at the secondary level 2 or are about to complete it.
Since most lessons are conducted in English, one of the following qualifications is additionally required:
English studies, native speaker, or Cambridge Proficiency.
