For a planned reopening in Niederdorf / City of Zurich we are looking
from March 1, 2026
for an Operations Manager.
The restaurant will have around 40 seats and offer typical Swiss cuisine.
It is planned that you will be involved from the handover of the keys and help shape the opening and take over the operational business.
What awaits you:
You will manage the operation operationally. Your focus is on leading the entire team and the guest experience, in short, the thousand things it takes to have an exceptionally good time.
As a host, you are the first point of contact for employees and guests and represent the business internally and externally. In doing so, you reliably implement the operational guidelines in the areas of hygiene, quality assurance, and cost control. You participate in regular training sessions and the recruitment of new talents.
What you bring with you:
You have drive, humor, and personality. You bring sufficient experience in gastronomy and leadership, love your profession, and are eager to take on responsibility. A degree from a hotel management school is an advantage.
You identify with the given values and lead by example and commitment. You thrive in interacting with people and enjoy being active. You align yourself with the vision of the business, enjoy efficiently coordinated workflows, and have an eye for detail.
You are proficient in German, both spoken and written, and are also confident in English.
Host license is an advantage
Your tasks include, among others:
Operational management of the business
Responsible for the entire team including daily planning
Daily accounting
You manage the delivery/order system
