What is my role?

As the deputy workshop manager, you are the right hand of the workshop management and ensure that everything runs smoothly in the workshop. You coordinate the daily operations, lead your team with motivation and competence, and step in when the workshop manager is not available. Your tasks include:

• Planning and controlling workshop processes

• Leading and motivating your team

• Quality control and ensuring work standards

• Scheduling staff deployment

• Supporting order processing

• Communicating with customers and suppliers

• Contributing to process optimisation

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical training (e.g. automotive mechanic, mechatronics technician or equivalent)

• Several years of professional experience in a workshop

• Initial leadership experience or the motivation to take on responsibility

• Organisational talent and assertiveness

• Team spirit and strong communication skills

• Hands-on mentality and solution orientation

• Technical understanding and manual dexterity
