Energy/Climate Intern - 4 to 6 months from September 2026 (m/f/d)

We are looking for our Energy department in Lausanne (VD), an Energy/Climate Intern (m/f/d) for a period of 4 to 6 months, starting from September 2026.

The start date is flexible and can be agreed upon mutually.

Your tasks

• Participate in Energy projects: district energy concepts, planning and sizing of district heating networks, energy audits, etc.

• Contribute to Climate projects: municipal climate plans, carbon emissions quantification, life cycle assessments, vulnerability analyses, etc.

• Analyse and process data: calculations on Excel, creation of charts and summary tables, analysis of results, etc.

• Contribute to the writing and formatting of reports and deliverables

• Collaborate with the team on various project stages and participate in finding solutions tailored to our clients’ needs

Your profile

You are currently studying and wish to apply your knowledge to concrete projects related to the energy and climate transition:

• Master’s student at EPFL in Environmental Science and Engineering, specialising in Energy, at a University of Applied Sciences in Energy and Environmental Technologies, or in an equivalent programme

• Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel

• Knowledge of Python and/or QGIS/ArcGIS is an asset

• You have good analytical and synthesis skills and are comfortable with data processing

• You are curious, dynamic and proactive, with a sense of initiative

• You like to work in a structured and organised manner, while being capable of autonomy

• You hold a driving licence

• You have good writing skills in French; knowledge of English is a plus
