With the new school year 2026/27, various new teachers will start next week at Primary School Wittenbach.
Schoolhouse Sonnenrain
Roman Gredig will take over the 4th grade in the Sonnenrain school district from August 2026. He completed his training as a primary school teacher at the University of Teacher Education Chur in summer 2026.
Robin Ochsner will teach the 5th grade together with Antje Bechtel in the Sonnenrain school district. He is taking the opportunity to complete teacher training through a work-integrated study programme.
For a small part-time speech therapy position, we were able to gain Judith Wild. She works as a speech therapist in Egnach and brings many years of valuable experience.
Schoolhouse Kronbühl
Larina Hutter is starting her teaching career with her own class in the Kronbühl kindergarten. Last year, she was already working as a deputy in the Obstgarten kindergarten at Primary School Wittenbach.
Annina Hauser will bring experience to the 2nd grade. In addition to training as a primary school teacher, she is a trained play and Montessori educator and also has experience as a German teacher.
Agnieszka Gorgon and Regula Roduner will job-share a 3rd grade class. The tried and complementary tandem bring a lot of motivation and a broad range of experience in lower school to Kronbühl.
Diana Schneider is joining as a successor in the area of gifted and talented education. She is a trained primary school teacher and has many years of experience in differentiated instruction for gifted children in lower and middle school.
Schoolhouse Steig
Luise Treibig completed her training at PHSG in January. Already in February, she took over a deputy position in the Obstgarten kindergarten. From the new school year, she will continue the class as the class teacher.
Bettina Schoch has many years of experience as a primary school teacher. In the new school year, she will take over a 1st grade class.
Fiona Hug completed her training as a primary school teacher a year ago and will teach a 2nd grade class after the summer holidays.
Selma Hukic has already worked as a middle school teacher and thus brings valuable teaching experience. In the new school year, she will take over a 4th grade class.
Lena Bibaj completed her training as a primary school teacher this summer and will also teach a 4th grade class.
Fabienne Lutz has already taken over a deputy position in the forest kindergarten. From the new school year, she will work as a teacher in the forest kindergarten as well as a special needs educator in the kindergarten.
Sines Hauptlin has completed training as a special needs educator alongside his work as a primary school teacher. From the new school year, he will work in this role in the Sonnenrain and Steig school districts.
Seraina Niederer will take over the school management together with Miriam Spirig. Additionally, she will work as a primary school teacher in the middle school.
Primary School Wittenbach warmly welcomes the new staff and wishes them a good start to the school year.
