Swiss TPH is a globally renowned institute in the field of global health with a special focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, teaching and services at local, national and international levels. Around 900 people from 90 countries work at Swiss TPH in areas such as infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health, as well as health systems and programmes.
The Education Department is responsible for coordinating the courses and programmes at Swiss TPH as well as at the University of Basel and is looking for an assistant to the head of the Education Department to start immediately or by arrangement. The role goes beyond a classic assistant position. As the central hub of the department, you coordinate organisational processes, take responsibility for cross-departmental projects and actively contribute to the further development of processes and structures. You work closely with the department head and are right in the thick of things.
