What you can achieve.

• As a Risk Manager, you are responsible for the further development and professional management of risk management in the Passenger Transport Production division and ensure its effective and practical implementation.
• You identify, analyse and assess complex and cross-departmental business risks and develop appropriate control measures together with those responsible for risks.
• By consolidating the risk situation, you create transparency about significant risks and their development and prepare decision-making bases for management and committees.
• You accompany strategically important projects and programmes in identifying, assessing and managing their risks and integrate risk management into project control.
• You anchor risk management in planning and control processes and continuously develop methods, tools and processes.
• In cross-functional committees and in the SBB Risk Community, you represent the business perspective and actively contribute it.

What you bring with you.

• You think analytically, strategically and in a networked way, quickly recognise relevant connections and focus complex issues on the decision-relevant aspects.
• High personal responsibility, an independent working style and the ability to sustainably advance demanding topics characterise you.
• You have several years of solid experience in risk management, controlling, finance, consulting or a comparable environment and have independently handled complex risk and control topics.
• With your strong communication and conceptual skills, you convince different stakeholders even without formal authority.
• Knowledge of the rail and production environment is an advantage or the motivation to quickly familiarise yourself with the specific risks and challenges of rail operations.
• A university, ETH or university of applied sciences degree and German language skills at level C2 are required. Ideally, you speak another national language at least at level B2.
