Production Team Leader 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a production team with 8 - 12 employees

• Programming, setting up and operating CNC-controlled turning and milling centres

• Manufacture of demanding workpieces and small series according to technical drawings and specifications

• Performing machining on conventional machine tools

• Post-processing of manufactured components including deburring and surface treatment

• Process monitoring as well as carrying out quality controls and dimensional inspections

• Participation in continuous improvement processes and optimisation of manufacturing workflows

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ or equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in chip-removal machining of complex workpieces

• Sound knowledge in programming and operating CNC-controlled turning and milling centres

• Ideally initial leadership experience as shift supervisor, team leader or in a comparable position

• Strong flexibility, precision thinking and independent working style

• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills

• Strong communication skills and team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality

• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
