The Office for National Roads Operations is responsible on behalf of the Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) for the operational and structural maintenance on the A2 from Airolo to Beckenried, on the A4 from Flüelen to Küssnacht, as well as on the Gotthard Pass road.
For the Operations and Safety Equipment Department in the Mechanical Division, we are looking for a new colleague at the main office in Flüelen.

Tasks
- Carrying out overhaul work on tunnel ventilation and air conditioning systems including removal and installation within the regional unit as well as for external clients
- Support during the commissioning of fans after overhaul work and preparation of the required documentation, completion and overhaul reports
- Participation in the establishment and further development of a fan team
- Manufacture of mechanical special constructions and technical aids
- Support in the procurement and management of spare parts for the assigned specialist areas with a focus on fans
- Technical and organisational support for the department heads and team leaders BSA
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems of the national road network, especially on tunnel systems, pumping stations, reservoirs, water supplies, HVAC systems as well as doors and gates
- Operation and maintenance of industrial cable cars in ventilation shafts
- Condition assessment and recording of units within the scope of maintenance as well as documentation of results and feedback in the maintenance tool "Sambesi"
Expectations
- Completed basic technical training in mechanics (e.g. polymechanics, production mechanics, cable car mechatronics)
- Experience in maintenance as well as in repair and overhaul work or willingness to acquire these skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics and welding technology
- Experience in measurement, electrical and control technology
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Driving licence category B
- Willingness to work occasional night shifts
