Due to the upcoming retirement of our administrative manager, we are looking for a
Head of Executive Support (80 - 100 %) starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- You will be responsible for the personnel, professional, and organizational management of the areas under your supervision: Human Resources, IT & Digital Transformation, as well as Location Development & Communication with 7 employees.
- The focus of your area of responsibility is on supporting the city council and department heads. As a link between politics and administration, you will actively advise the city council on strategic, organizational, and operational issues and prepare professional recommendations and decision-making bases.
- You will work closely with the city mayor and the city clerk and contribute your ideas, know-how, and experience proactively to the future-oriented development of the city administration.
- With your business knowledge and practical experience in organizational development, you will be able to identify optimization potentials and implement them together with the city council and administration.
- You will ensure smooth collaboration with and between the administrative departments and work with your team to create optimal conditions for the city administration to provide efficient and effective services.
- You will represent the city administration externally and maintain the relationship network both locally and regionally. Representing the interests of the city in relevant commissions and committees, as well as participating in project groups, rounds out your diverse range of tasks.

- You have a completed tertiary education in business administration, public administration, political science, or public management, complemented by a solid further education in leadership and several years of management experience in a similar role.
