The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence centre of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and cantonal-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the office accompanies the canton in the digital world.

Do you want to not only support SAP solutions but also independently further develop them and take responsibility from the requirement to stable operation? In our versatile SAP landscape, you take on a comprehensive role with a lot of personal responsibility. Together with the Business Solutions team and our internal customers, you develop sustainable solutions for the financial processes of the Canton of Zurich.

Your tasks

• Together with the team, you ensure the stable operation of our SAP FI/CO solutions and handle requests and incidents in 2nd-level support.
• You capture stakeholder requirements within the scope of operations, service, and change requests, question them constructively, and translate them into suitable technical solutions.
• You independently implement requirements and continuously develop the supported applications and processes.
• You specify development orders, manage internal developers and external partners, and check the quality of the implemented solutions.
• You advise our internal customers in a solution-oriented manner, transparently show technical possibilities and limitations, and develop sustainable solutions together with the parties involved.

Your profile

• Completed education in business administration, business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in application management or technical consulting of SAP FI/CO.
• Solid practical experience in customising and technical implementation of requirements and changes.
• Understanding of basic financial and accounting processes and translation of business requirements into technical SAP solutions.
• You work independently and responsibly, actively take on topics, and keep an overview even in a complex system landscape.
• You think beyond your own area of responsibility, make clear decisions, and coordinate reliably with the involved parties.
• A customer-oriented, consultative attitude and enjoyment in developing good solutions together complete your profile.
