Road Maintenance Worker
Technical Office | 80-100 % | Samedan
The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic structures and slow mobility in Graubünden. Additionally, we handle the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 metres high and tunnels up to 3 kilometres long. The challenges posed by the nature of our mountain canton in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As an office certified with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).
For the road maintenance department in district 3 Samedan, we are looking for a road maintenance worker from 1 October 2026 or by agreement.
- Carrying out road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
- Summer and winter service
- Clearing and repair work after accidents or natural events
- Monitoring the condition of roads and road facilities
- On-call service (both summer and winter)
- Completed vocational training in construction
- Manual skills
- Physical endurance
- Teamwork attitude
- Category C driving licence or willingness to obtain one
- The working language is generally German; knowledge of Italian and Romansh is an advantage
