Your new role
You understand school as a space for learning and living and are ready to offer children an action-oriented approach to acquiring key life skills, cultural techniques, and important knowledge content. You engage with the individuality and special characteristics of the child and are prepared to accompany them on their path of personality development, thereby helping them acquire the necessary competencies for lifelong learning.
Starting from the upcoming school year, we are looking for one or more committed, professionally competent, and warm personalities as school-based special educators.
The focus on Cycle 1 (approx. 40%) or Cycle 2 (approx. 60%) can be clarified during the application process.
These are your tasks
Individual support of children in their holistic learning process, accompanying and strengthening children and young people in their academic and personal development, meeting students at eye level, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating support measures. Also included is
collaboration with class teachers in the sense of co-teaching and integrative support, as well as an open and appreciative exchange with all teaching and specialist staff for the benefit of the children. Furthermore, it involves implementing solution-oriented approaches, trustworthy and transparent cooperation with parents and all actors involved in school life, and actively shaping support processes and the school development of our holistic support approach.
This position is suitable for you if
- you have completed training as an HPS (Swiss diploma or equivalent recognition) or are currently in training
- you can demonstrate solid teaching experience
- reflection skills, clarity in appearance, and joy in individual support are among your strengths
- an independent, structured way of working as well as teamwork skills are natural to you
- you bring openness to innovative pedagogical approaches
