In the IT department of Zürcher Kantonalbank, you ensure that our data is always secure, available and protected. In the "Storage & Backup Services" team, you work in a well-coordinated environment that is responsible for business-critical platforms. Together, we ensure a modern, stable and resilient storage and backup landscape. A special focus is on the bank's cyber resilience and the ability to quickly and controlledly restore critical systems after incidents. You work closely with the teams in the "Platforms & IT Operations" area and are close to the bank's central IT services. You can expect an environment where collaboration, trust and development are highly valued.
Your tasks
- Your tasks – shaping more Advising internal customers on system-technical questions regarding data storage, data backup and data archiving
- Ensuring the provision and stable operation of the storage and backup infrastructure
- Participating in the analysis, architecture and further development of storage and backup solutions
- Further developing the cyber disaster recovery and cleanroom platforms to strengthen the bank's cyber resilience
- Designing innovative solutions and automated recovery processes to quickly, controlledly and securely bring critical systems back into operation after cyber incidents
- Contributing to the central security of data and continuously improving the platforms
Your profile
- Completed studies (university/fachhochschule) in computer science or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in operating business-critical IT infrastructures, ideally in the area of storage and backup
- Solid practical experience in the reliable operation of storage and backup solutions, especially with IBM Storage Protect, IBM hardware solutions as well as with NetApp and Brocade SAN switches
- Practical experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
- High affinity for topics related to cyber resilience, cyber disaster recovery and the protection of critical data
- Very good German skills, good English skills are a plus
