• Handling prisoner admissions and releases, including forensic identification
• General supervision, care and control activities in the departments of the central prison
• Cooperation with various internal and external partners
• Contact person for prisoner concerns
• Assisting in maintaining peace, order and security as well as performing various administrative tasks

What you bring:

• Completed 3- or 4-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence, additional qualification as a specialist in correctional services with a federal diploma desired or willingness to complete this course
• Resilience, composure, teamwork skills as well as reliable and independent working style, oral foreign language skills are an advantage
• High social competence and emotional stability as well as understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different backgrounds
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system including weekend shifts
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal and debt register extract), driving licence category B

Your working environment

At the Lenzburg Correctional Facility , persons sentenced to imprisonment or custodial measures are cared for. The facility offers 380 enforcement places for closed enforcement, pre-trial detention and short sentences.

The central prison of the Lenzburg Correctional Facility is expanding its services and creating a specialised reception department, which will in future handle all cantonal prison admissions around the clock. For this department, we are looking for committed and resilient employees who contribute professionally and sensitively to security, care and an orderly daily routine. Deployments in other departments are possible if required.
