About the job
What you can achieve
- You monitor compliance with legal, normative and internal requirements in the areas of occupational safety, health and explosion protection.
- You specifically develop safety guidelines, standards and processes further and implement them effectively in the company.
- You lead by example in a behavior-oriented safety culture and anchor it in everyday work.
- You create, maintain and update risk assessments, risk analyses as well as safety and explosion protection documents.
- You systematically analyze accidents and near misses and derive sustainable protective measures.
- You actively organize and accompany audits, inspections, instructions and emergency planning.
What you bring with you
- A completed training or degree in process engineering, safety engineering, food technology, ASGS expert or a comparable field.
- Extensive practical experience in management systems for occupational safety and health protection, e.g. FSSC 22000 and SEDEX.
- Very good knowledge of the ATEX directives as well as the relevant legal requirements.
- Experience in dealing with dust explosion hazardous areas and their specific risks.
- The ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize them and derive effective measures.
- A communicative, confident personality who conveys safety authoritatively, demands it and independently drives continuous improvements.
