Tasks
In the first phase, you would be deployed as a mover driver and perform the following tasks:
In the second phase, you will be trained as a shunter (A40).
- Transferring swap bodies between the yard vehicle and railway wagon
- Coupling and uncoupling swap bodies
- Loading and unloading as well as provision of swap bodies
In the second phase, you will be trained as a shunter (A40).
- After passing the exam, function-specific activities (shunting) will be added to the tasks mentioned above
- In a further step, training as a locomotive driver is possible if suitable
Requirements
You have completed training (EFZ/EBA) and would like to be trained as a shunter category A40.
- Driving licence category B
- Physically fit and resilient
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Working in shifts (Monday to Sunday)
