Main tasks
- Setup & Operation: Co-design of our new analytics platform from scratch, including secure and stable operation
- Governance: Definition and establishment of governance guidelines for the use of the analytics platform and other modern analytics tools
- From prototype to solution: Design, implementation, and operationalization of use cases and their integration into the daily work of our employees
- Engineering Excellence: Ensuring the quality and reliability of data products through the use of CI/CD, robust data pipelines, and MLOps practices
- Interface: Technical expertise towards our data scientists in the specialist departments as well as within ICT, including requirements gathering and translation into professional recommendations and real use cases
- Sharing knowledge: Promoting exchange in the Analytics Circle and Innovation Lab – through technical mentoring, documentation, and the establishment of good practices
Profile
- University or technical college degree in computer science or comparable education and training and at least 3 years of solid professional experience in a comparable position focusing on data science / data engineering
- Practical project experience with Python and SQL, other languages are a plus
- Knowledge in the use of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML), Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI is an advantage
- Practical experience in training and integrating AI models as well as in prompting generative AI services
- Willingness to learn and openness, especially regarding new technologies and use cases
- Very good German skills (C2), good English skills (B2), French skills are an advantage
