For the apprenticeship starting in August 2026, we are looking for a motivated person who enjoys working with their hands and helps keep the secondary school buildings in Uster in good condition. We offer an apprenticeship as a Specialist in Facility Maintenance EFZ - Focus on Building Services. The Secondary School Uster is an independent school community with a broad, innovative educational offer for secondary level with around 1,000 students. During your training with us, you will have the opportunity to work in the three school buildings Freiestrasse, Krämeracker, and Weidli and get to know different environments. The tasks as a Specialist in Facility Maintenance EFZ are very diverse and varied:- cleaning and maintaining various types of buildings and rooms.
- maintaining green areas around the buildings.
- checking and maintaining building technical systems, for example solar, sanitary, heating,
- carrying out minor repairs on these systems and devices and troubleshooting.
- calling in specialists if necessary to resolve certain problems and malfunctions.
- disposing of waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
- planning work processes and discussing them with the team.
- working with various small vehicles, tools, and devices, cleaning and maintaining them.
- checking material stock (inventory) in the warehouse and reordering if necessary. You are,
