Who we are looking for
Ability to work as part of a large team dedicated to the NAV production and associated processes for numerous Swiss clients. The role will involve day to day communication with different locations internally and externally with the client.
The candidate will need to possess strong analytical skills, Independent thinking, the ability to work to strict deadlines and be able to problem solve for unanticipated events.
This role will provide the candidate with exposure to the full lifecycle of the fund, including responding to client queries, the on-boarding/off boarding of funds/clients and ad hoc project work.
It is a unique role that requires an understanding of the NAV process and how different departments and geographical locations within State Street interact and work together to service our clients.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where there is both work from home and office to match role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Fund Accounting & Administration Officer you will:

Supervise staff (including Associate 1 Associate 2 and Senior Associate Staff) ensuring all KPI/KRI are met.

Manage the daily deliverables set across all clients and ensure that all locations are aware of and meet the required deadlines.

Self-test the data set for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that the controls and necessary procedures have been adhered to

Communicate effectively internally and externally

Proactively look for solutions to clients problems to improve the processes and ensure quicker time to market.

Act as a partner for your clients. Problem solve as issues arise and advise on best practice and possible alternative solutions

Ensure junior members of staff are trained adequately and are evaluated accurately

Enhance your skill set by availing of training resources and seeking to improve internal procedures through an intimate knowledge of the control and risk environment

Manage internal workflow and client deadlines.

Manage client relationships & liaising with client personnel on a daily basis.

Maintain good working relationship with all client contacts including clients Auditors and other relevant personnel.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent

At least 5 to 6 years of Fund Industry experience

Experience with mutual funds, complex fund structures and fee calculations desired.

Ability to thrive and function in a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
-
CPA qualification is favorable but not required.
