What you can achieve
- Continuous optimisation of trade compliance processes in SAP GTS as well as other export control processes and requirements
- Requirements analysis, specification, testing and implementation within the scope of project & software support, e.g. for technology control
- Support in the development of an authorisation concept for access to technical data
- Management and maintenance of US and CH licences (including ITAR, EAR and Swiss law)
- Proactive support of purchasing, sales and logistics in projects
- Support in reviewing and adjusting data access processes and controls to comply with the Technology Control Plan
- Creation of reports and reportings based on SAP GTS and other data sources
- Creation, maintenance and adjustment of compliance documentation and employee manuals
- Design and delivery of trade compliance training for end users, data administrators and data owners
- Conducting data analyses to ensure compliance requirements
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed degree (e.g. economics, business law, business informatics) or a comparable solid education in the field of foreign trade / customs
- Several years of professional experience in trade compliance, ideally in an international or technology-oriented corporate environment
- Good knowledge of Swiss and US foreign trade law (ITAR, EAR) as well as experience in dealing with war material/goods control law and authorities (e.g. SECO)
- Very good practical knowledge of SAP GTS and S/4HANA, strong IT affinity
- Experience in goods classification (Swiss and US export control) and in creating complex reports
- Strong skills in process optimisation and enthusiasm for lean methods
- Enjoyment in knowledge transfer and clear training of complex compliance topics
- Confident appearance in enforcing export control measures, combined with a pronounced solution orientation
- Openness to agile team structures and close, interdisciplinary collaboration
- Fluent German skills and English at least C1
