Company Description
The Public Institutions for Integration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities or facing difficulties in professional and/or social integration.
We are looking, for our "Health" unit, attached to the Human Resources Services - responsible for managing more than 1400 employees: an occupational health nurse at 80%. The position involves regular travel to our various sites.
Job Description
- Preserve and promote the health of employees in their work environment;
- Participate in the development of health and safety concepts at work in close connection with safety officers; analyse occupational accidents and propose solutions to remedy them;
- Be proactive in improving the ergonomics of workstations and follow the recommendations of the EPI medical advisor regarding the adaptation of working conditions;
- Work closely with HR managers and supervisors to monitor long-term absences. Contact and/or meet employees on long-term absence, ensure follow-up of procedures with disability insurance and/or pension fund;
- Maintain close links with HR, various hierarchies, the medical advisor and the occupational physician, particularly in the context of monitoring short and long-term absences;
- Coordinate an internal network of health correspondents; organise health prevention campaigns in connection with the medical network (SUVA, BPA, etc.); participate in organising internal training related to health;
- Establish statistics, notably in the context of monitoring absenteeism;
- Initiate and conduct public health screening actions (organisation of flu vaccination, information on sun-related risks, etc.).
Qualifications
- A Bachelor in HES SO Nursing Science, complemented by a CAS HES in occupational health / community health;
- A practising licence;
- At least 5 years of experience as a nurse, including some in occupational health or community health;
- Good knowledge of the Geneva health/social network, and regulatory insurance rules (disability insurance, CPEG);
- Experience in a public administration would be an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- A strong interest in the mission of integrating people with disabilities or facing integration difficulties;
- Organisational skills;
- Good communication, listening and analytical skills;
- Ability to quickly understand issues and act proactively.
