The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in Zurich and also the district capital in the Limmattal with around 28,000 inhabitants. In the Legal Service and Controlling unit of the Social Department, a position as a social worker is to be filled. Are you the open, flexible personality that fits with us? We are looking for you immediately or by arrangement a
Your tasks
- Comprehensive case review of support cases in economic social assistance and asylum matters (independent of the annual entitlement review)
- Clarifications within the framework of the obligation to support relatives
- Drafting of criminal complaints and conducting home visits based on suspicion
- Processing of reassessments
- Systematic collection and evaluation of statistical data
- Development and further development of professional foundations, regulations as well as conducting internal training
Your profile
- Degree in Social Work with proven, several years of professional experience in case management of economic social assistance (mandatory)
- Very good knowledge of the social insurance system
- Quick comprehension with an efficient, high-quality working style
- Flair for interconnected thinking and acting
- Enjoyment of independent work in an interdisciplinary team and a dynamic environment
- High sense of responsibility
- Humour, flexibility and ability to work in a team
